Shibari Guide

A foundational guide for those wishing to begin their relationship with rope from anywhere in the world.

I created this guide because this practice changed my life and I wanted to give others a way to let it change theirs.

When I found Shibari, I had no guide that understood both the technical and the divine. No resource that honored the nervous system alongside sensuality as creative power, martial arts principles as movement and the subconscious as the place where the most important revelations actually happens. What existed were fragments of safety, aesthetics and skills without the depth that makes technique worth learning.

So I pieced it together slowly, through years of practice and many sessions that left a profound impact on me.

Most guides tell you how to tie. This one asks you why.

Seven years of devotion to this art live in these pages. This guide is the map I didn't have then. The technical foundations, the somatic principles, the safety knowledge and the philosophy intertwined into one. This shibari guide is for those who want to explore this art form with both skill and depth.
